40 years ago, I was looking for something to differentiate us from the competition when I read In Search of Excellence by Tom Peters. They highlighted Disney and Stu Leanord's Diary as excellent customer service examples. I decided our differentiator would be exceptional customer service. I shared those customer service ideas with my 20,000 customers and soon they were asking me if I had all of my info in one place. That turned into a book, which led to The Make-You-Happy Customer Service System. I used these CS ideas in a few different businesses along the way. Sold most of my business and now enjoy share my ideas with the world
